Droidekas, also called destroyer droids or “rollies,” are heavy battle droids used first by the Trade Federation and then widely by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Built by the Colicoids on Colla IV, they have a distinctive three‑legged, insect‑like frame with twin blaster cannons on their arms and built‑in deflector shield projectors, making them dangerous even to Jedi who generally avoid engaging them head‑on.​

Their hallmark trait is the ability to curl into a wheel and roll at high speed, then rapidly unfurl into firing position while activating their shields, which can shrug off most small‑arms blaster fire and many explosives. Because they are expensive and more specialized than standard B1 or B2 battle droids, Separatist commanders typically deploy them as shock troops, bodyguards, or executioners, where their combination of mobility, concentrated firepower, and shielding can decisively break enemy positions.

This re-issue product, previously SWL50, now SWQ36, brings the Droidekas to the refreshed Star Wars: Legion. With updated packaging, featuring new art, along with updated cards to the new SWQ multilingual format, this product is an exciting product for Separatist Alliance army players.
