Daughters of Khaine Witch Aelves / Sisters of Slaughter Box Cover

Description

Witch Aelves spend their entire lives dedicated to serving their deity. Other orders may spend their days in prayer but for the followers of Khaine weapons practice and mock duels take up the majority of their day, performed as religious services with all the appropriate gravitas. On the battlefield, pale shadows, weave a scarlet path through the orgy of destruction, bathing in the spray of jetting arteries. The Sisters of Slaughter live moment to moment and fight with this philosophy, each move is unpredicted and unplanned making them hard to counter. Some see this philosophy as pure instinct but when one of these daughters of the aelven race hack their way through through a trio of captured daemons, or a unit cut down a chimera with artfully executed slashes soon changes their mind.

A Sisters of Slaughter's role as gladiators means that they are equipped with shields to batter away the blows of their enemy while their knives are poised to strike the enemy. The masks that they wear are due to their history which started as outcast daughters of noble families.
